Introduction

At A Farmer's Basket (AFB), we are committed to providing you with the freshest produce and the best possible shopping experience. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, our Return and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returning products and receiving refunds.

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • Fresh Produce: Due to the perishable nature of fresh produce, we only accept returns for products that are damaged, spoiled, or not as described. Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if there are any issues. If not satisfied with the products, please return it to the delivery partner immediately. No returns and replacement after the delivery is accepted. If prepaid order, your amount will be returned in 1-2 business working days. All goods remain with the rights of AFB Prayagraj, until full payment is received by our delivery partner.
  • Non-Perishable Items: Non-perishable items such as spices or other product categories can be returned within 7 days of delivery if they are unopened and in their original packaging.
  • Delivery Location: Kindly note that we are delivering only to Prayagraj (Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh) right now. We will not accept orders from outside Prayagraj, and we cannot assure timely refunds to outside Prayagraj customers, as we have to bear the cancellation charges from our own pockets due to payment gateway policies and their charges. 

2. Reporting Issues

  • If you encounter any issues with your order, please contact our customer service team within 24 hours of delivery for fresh produce or within 7 days for non-perishable items.
  • Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and any relevant photos to help us process your request quickly.

3. Return Process

  • Fresh Produce: If your fresh produce is damaged or spoiled, we may ask you to provide photos or other evidence to verify the issue. We will then arrange for a replacement or refund.
  • Non-Perishable Items: To return non-perishable items, please contact our customer service team to initiate the return process. You may be required to ship the item back to us at your expense.

4. Refund Process

  • Damaged or Spoiled Produce: If your claim is approved, we will offer you a replacement or a refund. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
  • Non-Perishable Items: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days.

5. Non-Returnable Items

  • Certain items are not eligible for return, including:
    • Items that have been opened or used (except in cases of damage or spoilage).
    • Items not in their original packaging.
    • Items returned without prior authorization from our customer service team.

6. Partial Refunds

  • In some cases, partial refunds may be granted at our discretion for items that are not in their original condition, are damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

7. Order Cancellations

  • Before Dispatch: You may cancel your order before it is dispatched by contacting our customer service team. If the order has already been processed, it cannot be canceled.
  • After Dispatch: If you wish to cancel your order after it has been dispatched, you may refuse the delivery. Once we receive the returned items, we will process your refund, excluding any delivery charges.
